SUPERIOR INSULATION SOLUTIONS

Exceptional custom spray foam insulation services tailored for residential and commercial new builds.

WHY CHOOSE SPRAY FOAM INSULATION?

Unlike traditional insulating materials like fiberglass, spray foam insulation can seal and fill all the tiny cracks and seams you might not even see. The seamless material virtually eliminates energy-wasting air infiltration, keeping your property comfortable and your energy bills low year-round.

How It Works

Spray foam insulation is applied as a liquid that expands when sprayed, filling all cracks and crevices. It hardens into a solid insulating material that creates an air-tight seal, preventing heat transfer and air infiltration. This seamless coverage is what makes spray foam superior to traditional insulation methods.

Ultra Seal specializes in two types of spray foam insulation. We work with you to select the right foam for your specific application.

Open Cell Foam

Closed Cell Foam

Everything you need to know about spray foam insulation and how it can improve your home's comfort and energy efficiency.

R-Value Explained

R-value measures thermal resistance. Higher R-values mean better insulation. Open-cell foam (half-pound) has an R-value of 4.1 per inch, while closed-cell foam (two-pound) has an R-value of 7.14 per inch. However, the superior air sealing of spray foam often saves more energy than traditional insulation with higher R-values.

Half-Pound Foam

Light, flexible open-cell foam suitable for most home insulation purposes. Expands 100 times its volume to create a continuous insulating barrier.

Performance Specifications:
• Expands 100x original volume
• R-value: 4.1 per inch
• Does not shrink, sag, or settle over time
• Maintains R-value indefinitely
• Fills all cracks, crevices and voids
• Remains flexible and forgiving

Key Benefits:
• Excellent sound attenuation for noise control
• Cost-competitive option
• Perfect for walls, attics, ceilings and floors

The cost-effective versatile choice for residential builds. This lightweight expansion foam creates a seamless air barrier in walls and attics, ensuring year-round comfort with a breathable, airtight seal.

The gold standard for thermal protection and strength. Delivering industry-leading R-values, this high-density barrier seals out moisture while physically reinforcing your property's structural integrity.

Two-Pound Foam

Rigid closed-cell polyurethane foam used primarily in industrial applications. Serves as a complete air barrier and vapor barrier when applied at proper thickness.

Performance Specifications:
• R-value: 7.14 per inch
• Rigid closed-cell formula
• Does not shrink, sag, or settle
• Functions as air barrier and vapor barrier
• Superior structural reinforcement

Key Benefits:
• Reduces air leakage significantly
• Increases energy efficiency
• Minimizes possibility of mold growth
• Adds structural stability
• Ideal for walls, attics, floors, and foundations

Energy Savings

Most homeowners see significant reductions in heating and cooling costs—often up to 50%—after switching to spray foam insulation. The initial investment is quickly recovered through lower utility bills. Energy savings can vary based on climate, home size, and existing insulation
